The fifth episode is always a nice one, seeing our two groups combine and usually with a song clue, or in Dancer's case being able to hear the real voice of our performers. But who are they? And what is my ranking for their performances?
8th - Pillar and Post (Revealed)
It was obviously a shame seeing our first duo go out to an injury, but it was surely their week to go anyways. David and Frankie's chemistry was enchanting and they are a great addition to the Masked family.
7th - Tomato Sauce (Revealed)
Irish dancing moves can only take you so far, and I agree that it was perhaps Steph's time to be unmasked.
6th - Pearly King
He is flawless in his characterisation, and his abilities are slowly coming out. He is riding the wave of not being unmasked, and I love that for Bruno Tonioli.
5th - Sea Slug
It was a solid performance, a good cha cha. Is Sea Slug running out of steam? Perhaps slightly, but Denise Lewis is still a good competitor.
4th - Onomatopoeia
Really stepped up his game this week with an iconic song, and I'm slowly warming to him. It definitely seems to be Adam Garcia, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's Ricky Wilson either.
3rd - Candlestick
It possibly wasn't as good as his last two performances, but still so much life and stamina, and for a baker, Liam sure knows how to move.
2nd - Odd Socks
Really enjoyed the partnering this week. I think no matter what happens to Odd Socks in the long run, they will be one of my favourite characters of all time, so much life and fun. All the clues match Kimberley Walsh, making Girls Aloud our first band with two masked members.
1st - Scissors
I mean, just wow. There's not much I can say to give Heather the credit she deserves. What an emotive performer, and I want her to win, simple as that.
